Get my itemised quoteWe plaster across Poole’s BH12 to BH17 postcodes, from the waterside homes of Sandbanks and the leafy streets of Canford Cliffs to the post-war estates of Canford Heath and the period semis of Parkstone. We work regularly in Broadstone, Hamworthy and Upton too.
Most of our work is for small and medium Bournemouth and Poole builders running whole-house renovations and extensions. We also take on domestic jobs where the homeowner wants the same standard, from one bedroom or an Artex ceiling to a whole bungalow.
Every wall is assessed first, then skimmed to a flat, hard finish your decorator can paint straight onto.
For more on the inside work, see domestic plastering and skimming. For boarding before the skim, see drylining and plasterboarding. If the outside needs doing too, our own render team covers Poole: see rendering in Poole.

Inside walls and ceilings, for homeowners and builders.
A fresh two-coat skim over plasterboard or sound existing plaster, for smooth walls that are ready to paint.
Strip back to brick or block, base coat, then skim. The right fix for blown plaster, damp damage or walls that have been patched too many times.
Smooth ceiling skims, Artex skimmed over or removed, and full ceiling replasters.
Cracks, holes from old fixtures and damp patches, cut back to sound plaster and blended into the wall around them.
Board and skim for extensions, loft conversions and garage conversions, alongside your builder or as a job on its own.

It depends on the size of the room, the state of the walls and whether you need a skim or a full replaster. A typical skim in Bournemouth and Poole costs £300 to £600 a room, or £3,000 to £6,000 for a full house. A full replaster costs roughly 30 to 50% more than a skim. We visit the property first, so the quote is itemised and exact.
Every Poole postcode, BH12 to BH17, including Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs, Lilliput, Parkstone, Hamworthy, Canford Heath and Upton. We work regularly in Broadstone too. Our areas we cover page has the rest of Dorset.
Lead times in the BH postcodes run one to two weeks for most jobs and four to six weeks at peak (late spring, late summer and the run-up to Christmas). Smaller jobs can often be fitted in sooner. We give you an honest start date at the quote stage.
A skim is usually enough when the old plaster is solid (no hollow sound when you tap it) and the wall is reasonably flat. A full replaster is the right call when the plaster is blown, damp-damaged or badly repaired, or when the wall is back to bare brick or block. We check on the visit and tell you which you need.
Yes. We have our own render team alongside our plastering gangs, so one firm can plaster the inside and render the outside. Our rendering in Poole page covers the render systems we use.
